Boutique faces the heavy traffic road. Many cars representing changes and bustle are seen in this place, So we tried to bring the stillness quietly standing into a existence. By sticking various thick woods irregularly, we express the bark of a tree standing in a street.

Dental Clinic / 2010

Reconstruct project of dental clinic. Approaching to the 2nd floor through the staircase that has light and organic surface of plaster. We aimed for relaxing atmosphere for patients by using pure materials.

Full - storage Table For Books. Plywood constructed without using any nails or screws, so can be deconstructed to the pieces. Stabilized by the weight of 300 books.

Bookend / 2008

Naturally, bookends are made to arrange books vertically to horizontal plane. [Massive] having two slant sides not seen in general, have same shape and three sizes. Each one does not work by itself. Needs to cooperate as a family. Not like a cube, the unique existence impression is shown and diversifying the use of one object.

Concept house designed for Wallpaper* as one of The World's 30 Architect of Wallpaper* Architects Directory 2009. It is simple and primitive architecture that has only two elements. Cave in the glassland and lotus leaf as a roof to avoid rain. It is also Invited to exhibit of the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam 2009 in Chabot Museum, Rotterdam.

Born in Fukuoka Japan 1983. Studied Architecture by himself, then established his own atelier in 2005. His First Architecture called [S House] completed in 2007 was awarded Bauwelt Prize 2009 in Berlin, and chosen one of The World's 30 Architect of Wallpaper* Architects Directory 2009. And was Invited to exhibit of International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam 2009 in Chabot Museum, Rotterdam. In 2010 He moved his atelier to Kurume-city where he was born.
